Bud Flagg and Dee Embree were high school sweethearts and graduated from CORONA High School in 1956.
US Navy Rear Admiral Wilson Falor (Bud) Flagg, along with his wife, Darlene Ellen (Dee) Embree were among those on flight American Airlines Flight 77 – which crashed in the Pentagon. They have two sons, Marc and Michael, and four grandchildren, Elizabeth, Mitchell, Michael and Natalie.

Assist us in placing 2,977 American flags–families encouraged
On Tuesday, September 9, at 4:00 PM at the
Corona Historic Civic Center (815 W 6th Street, Corona, CA 92882)
Volunteers will assemble each American flag with a personalized placard representing a person who lost their life that day. With over 90 people representing other countries, we ensured to place their country’s flag below the American flag. Volunteer opportunities are available.
Join us for a patriotic morning of remembrance on Thursday, September 11,
at 5:00 AM at the Corona Historic Civic Center (815 W. 6th, Street, Corona, CA 92882). We will honor the lives lost through prayer, speeches from local officials, the ringing of the BELL, and remembering our CORONA Connection to the tragic day we know as 9/11.
We will begin reading names of those who lost their lives at 5:30 AM and will be pausing for a 23-second moment of silence for each one of the aircraft crashed
